In 2008 Auricle Records released "Buffalo Pearl" another collection of duets recorded two days after this concert in NYC. At the time we considered that recording to be a kind of prelude to the release of this recording from Roulette. But our efforts to find a home for the Roulette recording encountered delays and the recording has remained unissued all of these years. Between 2001 and 2005 John and I performed often as a duo, mostly in the States. We have continued in duo and other combinations more sporadically since that time. From time to time I have thought of this recording, and sure enough it did not disappoint my memory of our performance.
